With the June 2004 issue, we changed State Statistical Trends from a monthly journal to an annual book called State Trends. From this annual publication we pull each state's data and publish a State Trends in Perspective for each state. Besides not having the word "Statistical" in its title, these state-specific publications differ from the similarly named publications sold on this page in the depth of their coverage and the material included. The publications on this page are 82 pages versus the 21 of the new publications. This reflects the fact that the new annual publication has fewer tables and none of the analysis, maps and charts provided in the monthly journal. The price reflects this change: $19.00 as compared to $59.00 for the more extensive publications. There is a State Statistical Trends in Perspective, Volume 6 for each state based on the the July 2003 to June 2004 issues of the monthly journal. This became available in August 2004.
